I will explore nature’s shapes and textures with your budding artist in this fun workshop designed for the little ones. Your child will use different techniques, including tataki zome, the Japanese process of flower pounding, to craft a playsilk with designs from nature. This playsilk can then be used for imaginary play. We will also sing songs related to the day’s project. This class is recommended for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers. Class is limited to ten children and one space should be purchased for each child; caregivers do not need a separate ticket.
